Delivered by Stephanie Neuman, in collaboration with Ashira Gobrin, you will learn from real-life experience for discussion, understanding, and healing. This course will provide education in cultural competence, understanding of how the brain works fin trauma, adaptations of First Responders, and build confidence working with the complexities of this specific population. Participants will also gain an understanding of the after-effects of war during times of conflict. Detailed discussion of trauma, dissociation and how First Responders respond to trauma and survive will be the highlights of this workshop.
